Hosted by illustrious author Virginia Carraway Stark, our writing workshops offer the following:
a) a hand-picked group of classmates ensured to be high energy, positive and supportive individuals
b) honest yet kind critical analysis of all aspects of your work with an eye toward “making what’s good, better”
c) one on one time with experienced, published authors, poets, screenwriters and evaluators
d) a well-visited online forum where your finished works can be shared with the world
Hosted by Virginia Carraway Stark, online sensation and editor in chief of StarkLight Press, our workshops will help you to take your writing out of your To Do pile and into the public sphere!
StarkLight Zone offers workshops in:
-poetry (classic styles as well as free verse)
-fiction/genre writing
-grammar
-non-fiction writing
-screenplay writing for sales
-Blogosphere 101
Each attendee will receive a spot on our workshop alumni roll to be posted at www.starklightpress.com as well as a Certificate of Completion for each workshop attended.
Each of our graduates also receives post-workshop support for promotional and creative endeavours through StarkLight Press’ network of affiliates.
We offer three varieties of online workshops:
-one on one workshop (3-5 hrs total time) $125
-multi-person online workshops 4-8 persons; (3-5 hrs total time plus “post game” wrapups) $50-75 per person, group discounts available
-multi-person weekend workshops 4-8 persons; 2 day total time) $325 per person, group discounts available
