Announcing the latest (possibly greatest!) Tales from Space short story contest!
Now’s your chance to write in the hugely popular, dynamic, collaborative world of the Galactic Association of Globes and Asteroids (GAGA), and to tell your story with your favorite characters in Tales from Space. We are accepting applications staring March 1, 2022 – closing date is Nov 1 2022.
We are accepting short fiction, screenplays, poetry for this anthology.
Minimum length is 300 words (short fiction, screenplay) or poems may be as long or short as you like.
Subject: whatever you like, provided it is your own concept that only incorporates elements of the GAGA universe (no crossovers, fan fiction or derivative subject matter, no matter how expertly veiled, please, or you will be disqualified!)
May be an expansion, a prequel, a new concept or idea, or a revisiting/other angle on existing Tales from Space story lines… or a standalone piece of fiction based upon your favorite GAGA characters! If you have an original world/character(s) who you think would love to meet GAGA notables, let us hear it!

As always with StarkLight Press, your rights to the elements you bring to the tale are yours to keep (ie: original characters, setting, overall storyline should it not be dependent upon GAGA characters for main action points). Rights to Tales from Space Stories remain with StarkLight Press, unlike our other short story contests. Should you write using your elements in a publishable format (e-book, blog, paperback, audiobook etc), we ask that “As Seen in Tales from Space 3 from StarkLight Press” be included in the credits for a period of 1 year.
